Tip of the Day: When proposing to your bridesmaids, keep in mind their personality and items they can keep forever. “Being a bridesmaid can be a large time and financial commitment. We think it’s so important to show these girls how much they mean to you — and how much you appreciate their willingness to help you," said Sonali Lamba, co-founder of brideside.com. Opt for a delicate jewelry piece alongside their favorite mini bottle of champagne!

Tip of the Day: “If you’re having an outdoor wedding and the sun refuses to shine on the big day, all is not lost!” says photographer Hannah Arista from Hannah Arista Photography.

She says: “If the sun is being fickle, console yourself with the knowledge that the most gorgeous photographs are taken on overcast days with diffuse light.” Arista points out that the sun is high contrast and tends to be less flattering. “On an overcast day, colors will also be richer and more vibrant, and faces will be more open and natural — expressions won’t be marred by squinting eyes.”

Tip of the Day: Centerpieces are no longer confined to the center of the table — in fact, clever brides will be hanging their showcase blooms from above. This is a delicate touch that allows your guests to chat freely without a tall vase between them. And, floral chandeliers are another way to give your space an ethereal feel.

Tip of the Day: While it's encouraged to take inspiration from other weddings and Pinterest, always go with a theme that's personal to you as a couple. "People always ask us what our favorite theme, wedding colors, and décor are. Hands down, the only 'theme' we suggest is whatever resonates best with the couple. We want this wedding to scream your name and have guests walk away saying, ‘that was SO them!’ Personalize details, big and small, subtle and dramatic. You want your wedding to be one of a kind, and the only way to accomplish that is to make it be a celebration of the two of you," says Vikki Marsee from All You Need is Love Events.
