Lauren Conrad's Runway Collection is Perfect for All of Your Pre-Wedding Events

Brides-to-be, you're going to want to add everything from Lauren Conrad's Runway Collection at Kohl's to your closet. Not only are the pieces chic but thanks to cream and pastel hues and luxe materials, they're perfect for engagement parties, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, and more. With prices maxing out around $200, it's never been more affordable to dress like a boho goddess.

Touchdown! Football-Themed Weddings

More couples are bucking tradition by paying for the wedding themselves, staging elaborate photo shoots — Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco has gotten flack for goofy photos taken at his wedding in 2011, which surfaced the web this week — and redefining what makes a wedding truly unforgettable. Now we're seeing a sharp increase in sports-themed weddings, where even the bride isn't afraid to get a little down-and-dirty with a pre-reception game of touch football.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the trend is catching on — SportsThemedWeddings.com threw about 300 sports-themed weddings last year (10x more than in 2010). Renting an arena can start at $10,000 for 125 guests.

I must confess: I'm not a football fan. Every year, one of my pals hosts a huge Super Bowl fiesta, and my idea of "watching" the game involves glancing at the tube every so often while consuming massive amounts of guacamole and catching up on the latest gossip with my girlfriends. What can I say? It's a time-honored tradition.

10 of Our Favorite Fall Wedding Ideas

The end of summer is upon us, and so begins the gradual transition to cooler temperatures and shorter days. Fall is one of my favorite times of year. I can never seem to get enough of the foliage or the flavors, and when it comes to a wedding, there are infinite possibilities to incorporate the season into your celebration. Below are just a few of our favorite fall wedding ideas.

1. Fall means the start of cooler temperatures. Embrace the season by adding a short lace sleeve to your bridal look.

2. Greet guests with glasses of bubbly garnished with traditional fall flavors like cranberries, pomegranates or orange rinds.

3. One of the simplest ways to celebrate fall is with seasonal blooms: Dahlias, calla lilies, and camellias are all gorgeous options for autumn. Work with your florist to highlight fall flowers in your bridal bouquet.
