If a traditional getaway just isn't her speed, try one of these fun and modern celebrations she'll love.

You don’t have to know how to ski to head to a fabulous ski resort with the girls. Whether you're a black diamond pro or get hives at the mere thought of going on the lift, everyone can enjoy the perks of a ski lodge lounge — especially if it involves curling up by the fire and flirting mercilessly with sexy ski instructors.

1. Call the resort to ask if there are any winter festivals coming up, so that you can plan your girls’ getaway during a weekend when there are tons of attractions, activities, and perhaps even free food at festival stands.
2. Ask about special group rates (and any freebies) that they give to party groups booking several rooms at the resort. You may get free breakfasts, goodie bags, gift cards to the restaurant, ski passes and more.
3. Schedule a special dinner. Ski lodges often have excellent restaurants, and you’ll find lots of terrific bars and eateries in the ski town.
4. Keep an eye out for celebrities. They’re always at ski resorts, and a photo with a star is a great memory for the bride.
