To kick off bridal market season, Bridal Guide was invited to attend the 30^th annual DEBI (Distinctive Excellence in the Bridal Industry) Awards, a glamorous night of dinner and dancing at The Chicago Field Museum. Hundreds of designers and retailers gathered in black-tie attire to honor the best and brightest in the bridal industry. The gala was hosted by singer and Tony Award-winning actress Laura Benanti. We watched the nominees’ stunning designs float down the runway and enjoyed good drinks and great company as we waited for the winners’ to be revealed.

We were recently honored to be a part of the judging panel for the fifth annual bridal gown design competition from New York City’s High School of Fashion Industries (HSFI) in partnership with Kleinfeld Bridal. These amazingly talented students, all from the junior class, created gorgeous gowns showcasing their creativity and design skills.
