After dating for over five and half years, Jamin wanted to make his proposal to girlfriend Valerie extra special—so he organized a flash mob to "Marry You" by Bruno Mars in the middle of Downtown Disney!

Angela Miller, a longtime fan of the national news show, thought she was on camera to give her boyfriend of nine years, Nathan Rogers, a shout-out for his birthday. Her face registers total shock when he drops down on one knee, presents an ivory box and says, "I want to make you feel as special as you make me feel every day. Angie Miller, will you marry me?"

“I’m freaking out, I’m so shocked,” Miller later told the Today Show while simultaneously crying and laughing. “I had no idea. And that’s unusual because normally he can’t keep a secret!”

Hi, Bridal Guide readers and future blushing brides! I am beyond excited to share my experiences with you as a fellow bride-to-be! Unlike some brides who have had every detail of their wedding mapped out since childhood, I’m truly a wedding planning newbie.

Since I wanted my wedding to reflect my relationship, I held off on deciding the details until I had the groom nailed down (the most important decision you'll make regarding the wedding!) I’ve pictured what kind of dress I think I’d want, but people have asked me questions I'm still trying to answer, like “Will your bridesmaid dresses be long or short?” and “Will you see each other before the ceremony?” However, here’s what I do know: I found the man I will spend the rest of my life with and we have incredibly supportive families who are generously helping us plan an amazing wedding.

My fiancé Corey and I met while studying at Ball State University. After graduation, fate stepped in and we both ended up getting TV news reporting jobs in Evansville, Indiana. A year later, I knew I wanted to marry him and about two years after that, he asked.

1. How much do you earn?
2. How much savings do you have in both a rainy day account and retirement?
3. What's your credit score?
4. What debt do you have? 

A dock overlooking a lake is a picture-perfect location for a wedding ceremony. But we're guessing this isn't the kind of picture Nikki Palluzzi and Jonathan Wagenschutz had in mind when they chose their location!

While taking photos on Sugarloaf Lake in Michigan, the dock collapsed, sending the bride, groom, and bridal party into the water. Luckily, everyone was able to just laugh it off! You can watch it all go down in the video, captured by California-based videographer Jeff Hayward.

There’s also the option to get recommendations on future trips based on your likes, dislikes and previous travels. 

Disclaimer: I LOVE my wedding and I already know it will be amazing. I wish they had a better synonym for the word "regret" because I do not regret these things I'm about to write, I sort of just wish they could be...different?

A popular wedding trend that promises to continue is comfort food. Whether served at the cocktail hour, reception or after-party, mini burgers, hot dogs and grilled cheese sandwiches, mac ‘n cheese, ice cream, cupcakes and candy bars are always big hits with newlyweds and their guests. Let’s face it, we all love to indulge, guilt-free (it’s a wedding, after all!) in these mouth-watering treats.

And now, there’s a new comfort food in town that’s sure to start making wedding appearances: The Pie. Talk about comfort food! Does anything really beat those memories of Mom or Grandma’s homemade apple pie? I think not. So why not make your wedding even more memorable by treating your guests to some unforgettable pie treats? David Tutera, BG contributor and star of WEtv’s “My Fair Wedding,” plans to showcase pies at his brides’ celebrations. “They make such a unique statement,” says David, “and really personalize a wedding.” Just take a look at these amazing pie treats, courtesy of Pillsbury. The latest trend in wedding videography: Music videos! And we don't just mean a video montage set to music. Now, couples are taking it a step further by actually lip-synching the song in the video.

Ella and Sam, the same couple with the incredible tabloid-inspired save the date, set their music video to "You Make Me Feel" by Cobra Starship. Check it out!

Thinking about making your own music video? Here, some tips on how to make it happen:

►Learn the Lyrics:  Make sure anyone you plan to include in the singing portion knows the words by heart; your video will look much more natural if you're not studying the sheet right before the shot!

►Watch the Original Video:  The videographer, Elysium Productions, gathered inspiration from Cobra Starship's video. This enabled them to pre-produce graphics and wording.

►Make a Timeline:  The couple's planner, Carolyn Chen of The Special Day, coordinated the schedule to ensure that Ella and Sam had time to film their video without taking away from their big day. This also meant coordinating with the other vendors, like lighting and photo booth, to make sure everything was in the right place when it was time to film.

►Create a Shot List:  The biggest challenge is making sure that you have every word covered! Elsyium Productions created a shot list to prevent any mishaps.
