Tip of the Day: On the days of major events (i.e. your bridal shower, engagement party, and the big day!) eat a breakfast that combines fiber and lean protein, like a veggie-filled omelet with whole-wheat toast, or nonfat Greek yogurt with a high-fiber cereal, says Tanya Zuckerbrot MS, RD, NYC-based Registered Dietician, bestselling author, and founder of The F-Factor Diet. "Things can get a little hectic on these monumental days, and you won’t have a lot of time to eat. Fiber and protein are the two nutrients that take the longest to digest, so they keep you feeling full for a longer period of time so you can safeguard yourself from a hunger pang tearing you, or a champagne toast rushing to your head a little too quickly—and most importantly, can enjoy these incredible days just as much as you’ve dreamed you would."
