Four years after he met Jeanie, Dan set up an elaborate treasure hunt for her birthday that ended with a surprise proposal. Afterwards, the Ohio-based couple began to plan their opulent big day.

After the ceremony, guests traveled to the reception at Spindletop Hall, which was decorated in shades of pink, ivory and champagne to lend a soft, dreamy atmosphere.

Moss renderings of Jeanie and Daniel’s initials hung on the doors of the church.

A flower girl, looking adorable in her tulle Pegeen dress, posed with the bride and bridesmaids.

Ribbon-tied wooden fans offered guests relief from the summer heat.

The couple spray-painted miniature horse figurines and set them on top of each place card to put a Kentucky spin on the table settings.

Luxurious centerpieces of roses and hydrangeas sat atop the tables in the dining room, while the patio outside featured hand-rolled cigars, bourbon tastings and music from a string quartet. To give the newlyweds a special sendoff, each guest released a paper lantern into the sky at the end of the reception.

Gilded flatware and horse figurines lent touches of splendor and whimsy to each place setting.
