To further ensure their guests would have fun, the pair planned a not-too-formal fete: For the bridesmaids, Holly chose knee-length silk chiffon dresses; groomsmen would sport custom-made khaki suits. Holly carried a bouquet of white dendrobium and cymbidium orchids hypericum, accented with sprays of sea grass.

Ceremony programs were on palm leaf fans to help guest keep cool. A sage green and taupe color scheme was chosen to complement the landscaped gardens, tropical plants and greens of their venue, a golf club not too far from the beach.

The couple chose the Delaware shore for their event, since, as Holly says, "We spent so many summers there and always enjoyed the music of The Doug Segree Band. It meant a lot to us to have them play at our cocktail hour and reception." They chose Baywood Greens in Long Neck as their location.

After a long night of dancing, the couple hopped on a decorated golf cart and headed off to their honeymoon suite. "It was a day that truely celebrated our past and our future," says Holly. "Having all of our loved ones together, surrounding us, was a feeling we will never forget."

The bride and groom couldn't stop giggling as they cut a four-tier cake etched with their initials, and they shared their first dance to "Steady as We Go," by the Dave Matthews Band.
