Jennifer purchased her simple yet stunning gown at I Do! Bridal, an off-the-rack boutique. The dress was six sizes too large and required significant alterations: "All the credit goes to Anne Fiser at A Stitch in Time! She saved the day," the bride says.

The bride splurged on her Jimmy Choo heels. She wore them around her living room to break them in before the big day, and it worked; they were comfortable to wear all night.

The Velvet Garden designed all of the couple's floral arrangements, including the striking bridal bouquet and groom's boutonniere. "I wanted vibrant fall flowers with lots of colors, including my favorite: large burgundy orchids," Jennifer says.

The bride had a maid of honor (her little sister, Stephanie), along with four bridesmaids (Karen, Jordana, Megan, and Whitney). They wore pretty floor-length purple bridesmaid dresses by Dessy.

The newlyweds decided to take “first look” photos before the ceremony. "When Eric turned and saw me in my wedding dress for the first time, he had to hold back tears. It was such a special moment that’s left an indelible memory; it makes me emotional just thinking about it," Jennifer says.

Jennifer's father escorted her down the aisle.

Eric's expression as his bride walks down the aisle towards him is priceless!

Jennifer and Eric knew they didn't want to get married in a traditional ballroom. When they discovered the Shade Hotel, they instantly knew this hip SoCal property would fit their unique wedding style.
