For a couple who met, celebrated their first date, and later got engaged at Disney World, it was only natural for Hilarie and Peter to work with Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings and get married at the happiest place on Earth.
Hilarie and Peter first met while working through Disney's college program at Blizzard Beach and as a skipper on the jungle cruise, respectively. For their first date, they shared a meal at Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater, located at Disney's Hollywood Studios. And six years later, Peter proposed in that very same restaurant. While traveling home from Albania, where they had been living, Peter chose a flight with a layover in Orlando. He surprised Hilarie by whisking her away to Disney World and proposing. Then, they caught their connecting flight to Texas and shared the happy news with Hilarie's family. "It was a whirlwind of emotions and jetlag!" said Hilarie.
