Well, that was a short engagement! Ludacris popped the question to his longtime girlfriend Eudoxie Mbouguiyengue on December 26 — the pair didn't waste any time by getting married later that day in an undisclosed location.
The 37-year-old rapper lived up to his namesake with an extravagant, romantic proposal in a private jet. As the couple took flight, Eudoxie spotted a "will you marry me?" message on the ground beneath them.
Their ceremony was decidedly more low-key, based on Instagram photos that the couple shared on their respective accounts. He captioned one, "Why wait? Did the thing before 2015. #mrandmrsbridges." The bride wore a slinky halter dress with cut-outs, and she carried a purple bouquet. Her groom went for a formal jacket and pants but in a more casual touch, he didn't wear a tie.
E! News reports "It was a beautiful wedding. The wedding was small, and only close friends and family were in attendance. Ludacris was so thrilled to be getting married and filled with such love for his lady. He was a bit nervous when it was happening but in a very good kinda way."
