New Vera Wang Gowns for $1,500 (and Under)

The queen of bridal believes that brides tend to fall into one of several style categories — individualist, minimalist, modernist, romanticist and traditionalist — she hits all of these notes in her newest collection for David's Bridal, launching in February.

Recognize this classic design? It was modeled after Kim Kardashian's ceremony gown — but will only set you back $1,500. We love the juxtaposition of the nipped-in Basque waist with the cloud-like tulle. With lace detailing and a cathedral-length train, it's ideal for princess brides. Fun fact: I was so entranced by the back that I almost forgot to snap the front...whoops.

Blossom-inspired dresses are EVERYWHERE this season; you'll float down the aisle in this dreamy Kardash Georgette mermaid gown. I found myself immediately drawn to this dress when I walked into the showroom (since it won't overwhelm petite frames). With all of the intricate detailing and lush fabrics, it's an incredible steal at $1,500.

This gown is a triple threat for spring weddings: It has a corset bodice (how romantic is that draped tulle overlay?) enhanced with a ribbon and organza petals. Plus, it only retails for $1,200.

The one-shoulder on this basket-weave masterpiece (pictured at left) is a fresh alternative for brides who are tired of straps but can't picture themselves in full-length sleeves. For one grand, you can be this garden-chic. Or kick it up a notch on the drama factor with this ball gown and draped skirt creation (pictured at right; $1,500).

You can't go wrong with a black-and-white combo; the origami draped bodice is just-different enough for modern beauties (pictured at left; $1,400). Searching for a bold design that still says, "bride?" Vera took the blush trend a step further this season with a print ball gown (pictured at right; $1,100).

This twill gazar dress proves that even a simple silhouette can make a powerful statement. Take a closer look at the back shot and you'll see how subtly sexy the exposed-net corset and draped cowl are. Hands-down one of my favorite backs of the season! This gown is the second-least expensive at $700.

Love the reception dress trend but can't justify allocating thousands from the budget on a second look? Vera's found the answer in this $500 party frock with a whimsical pick-up skirt and the best "corsage" we've seen.
