A wildly creative couple apply their design skills and create an oh-so-chic, intimate wedding at a treehouse resort in San Jose del Cabo.
-AS SEEN IN BRIDAL GUIDE MAGAZINE-
“A key element for us was the resort's amazing tiled courtyard, which made for the perfect dining setting and an even better dance floor!” says Gina Gutierrez, founder & principal designer at Gina Rachelle Design. "We layered in soft colors along with modern touches like Eames chairs and hand-lettered tile place settings."
The couple designed their wooden ceremony backdrop based on Gina’s wedding ring, then the planning team at Bliss Events hired a local carpenter to execute the project.
Lush florals by Lola Del Campo.
The invitation suite by Minted.
Musicians' hats await their owners.
A mariachi band played poolside at cocktail hour.
Seating charts among the trees.
Resident peacock Chucky was there to greet each guest.
The reception was held on a courtyard patio.
Each place setting had guest favors: bundles of crystals and wood (with healing properties) wrapped in leather by the groom, Max; bride Gina hand-lettered each tile place card.
The ceremony backdrop is repurposed in a lounge area.
