Best Surfing: Punta Mita

Long before luxury hotels lined the pristine beach, longboarderes from all over have been flocking to this shoreline in Riviera Nayarit. The sweel is so long and constant that half-mile rides aren't uncommon. Stay at the gorgeous oceanfront Four Seasons, Punta Mita (above), and watch the waves from your balcony. When the surf isn't up, locals offer whalewatch rides in small boats anchored right off the beach.
