Here, the hottest hairstyles fresh from the runway plus tips from the pros on how to get these big-day looks.
Clean Sweep at Amsale
The hair in the Amsale show was inspired by a modern-day Audrey Hepburn. Hairstylist Jeff Francis, explains, “the clean, modern lines of the collection evoked a classic Americana feel and the hairstyles reflected that.”

How to: Straighten the hair with a flat iron. Apply Sachajuan Stockholm Styling Gel to smooth strands. Divide the hair into a low side part, sweeping it across the forehead. Gather hair into a ponytail, using an elastic to secure it tightly.
Past Meets Present at Jenny Packham
The gowns featured a mix of modern silhouettes offset with vintage beading. Hairstylist Jeanie Syfu echoed the aesthetic by creating a new take on the classic chignon.

How to: Form a side part and braid a few strands along the hairline. Lightly run a flat iron over the braids to impart a crimped texture. Use a curling iron to create waves throughout the hair, then undo the braids and pull hair into a low side-ponytail. Pin into a bun and spray with TRESemmé 24 Hour Body Finishing Spray to finish.
Modern Art at Vera Wang
A classic updo with an avant-garde twist was the call at Vera Wang’s show. Roberto Di Cuia says that he was inspired by the idea of a whirlwind— emulating the spiral motifs on the gowns.

How to: Spray Bumble & Bumble Thickening Hair Spray all over to amplify volume and add texture to slippery, freshly washed hair. Blow-dry and tease small sections for texture. Finally, pin up strands in a spiral shape to achieve this striking bouffant.
Vintage Glamour at Badgley Mischka
The Badgley Mischka collection was inspired by old-Hollywood glamour. The design aesthetic of the gowns referenced starlets from the 1940s and hairstylist George Ortiz’s hair evoked a Veronica Lake sensibility with luscious waves.
