"Asya knew she wanted a tropical theme,” says Jeanenne La Bella, CEO and co-founder, La Bella Planners, LLC. "And we both understood we had to go all out. We couldn’t just throw a few palm fronds around."

"It was a real ‘pinch-me’ moment on the day of the wedding, seeing everything come together," Jeanenne says. An anthurium, sago palm and monstera-leaf bedecked chuppa.

The invitation suite from Proper Notice offered a sneak peak of what was to come. "Asya and I are not afraid of color!"

The floral design throughout was a collaboration between ES Blooms and Bride & Blossom.

The reception tent featured both round and square tables, the latter set beneath pergolas.

"When you have the amazing Ron Ben Israel on the team, you just trust the process," Jeanenne says. "We discussed the wedding vision and specific floral direction and let him do the rest."

"We brought everyone into the 'tent of lights' after the ceremony," she continues. "It was one of the longest days of the year. We needed to find a way to incorporate romantic, magical and fun lighting for the event. Rattan lanterns provided the tropical ambience while the tent of lights held the whole event together."
