Event designer Claudia Palma conjures up a palette of cool whites and warm neutrals set against Baja California's deep blue Sea of Cortez.

"The florals echoed the shades of the sunlit sand, creating colorplay that perfectly offset the sea and sky blues," says Claudia Palma, event designer, Amy Abbott Events. When it came to designing the ceremony setting, Palma went for a "very clean look," using white wood flooring, white chairs and a showstopping hexagonal arch dressed with a mix of roses, spray roses, butterfly ranunculus, peonies and pampas grass.
The Sofreh table, set with edibles and artifacts symbolizing health, love and good fortune.
"The sweetheart table was one of the fête's wow factors, abloom with flowers (even at the couple's feet!) and set with peacock chairs," says Palma.
The wide, modern arch above the sweetheart table assures sweeping, unobstructed views.
Candles and gold accents add warmth.
"We looked to a mix of whimsical romance and rustic details," recalls Palma.
Delicate dried flowers and feathery touches of pampas grass.
