A Stylish Hippie-Inspired Pre-Destination Wedding Send-Off Party

-AS SEEN IN BRIDAL GUIDE MAGAZINE-

“The jumping-off point was ’60s and ’70s counterculture, with the goal of bringing romantic boho dreams to life," says Rochelle DeLong of The Social Spree. "The low seating and meandering tables created a laid-back ambience that encouraged guests to mingle freely.“

The outdoor areas around The Tower House, a renovated Craftsman bungalow in Fresno, California were transformed into a full-on boho paradise by Melissa Strukel of Pow Wow Design Studio.

Leather poufs from Morocco in neutral shades of caramel played off against richer jewel tones throughout.

Standing at attention, a colorful array of vintage pressed-glass goblets from Firefly Vintage Rentals.

Colorful, fruity cocktails and mocktails spiked with mint, sugar, and citrus.

A peek at one of the carpeted lounge areas that dotted the property.

The dining tables were topped with a masterful mix of succulents, wild flowers and garden roses in varied vessels.

Grazing stations crafted by Mattie's Pizza featured an array of mini-bites.

Vintage Moroccan décor from Pow Wow Design Studio underscored the overall hippie vibe.

Floral design by Bloom Generation perfectly aligned with the bride’s flower-child aesthetic.
