Jennifer Bourne and Garett Schmidt both swiped right, meeting initially on the dating app, Tinder, before having their first date at a local coffee shop in Boston, MA., where Jen was studying to be a lawyer at Boston University, and Garett was studying sound composition and design at Berklee College of Music. After two years in Boston with Jen, Garett graduated and moved to Los Angeles, then Toronto, Canada, while Jen began law school at Suffolk University in Boston. After a year and a half of long distance, Garett proposed to Jen while on a family vacation in Singapore, where his parents live. After a six month engagement, the two tied the knot in an intimate New England affair, at the Saphire Estate in Sharon, MA., with 120 of their family and friends.

Jen and Garett wrote each other letters, that the read before the ceremony, just prior to their first look.
Garett reads the letter Jen wrote him before the wedding.
"My florist was incredible! She takes pride in using locally sourced flowers and I told her that I wasn’t picky about the flowers as long as they coordinated well with the blush," Jen said. "She did an amazing job and it was so nice not to stress about thinking up what flowers would look best together – I decided to leave it to the professionals and I loved the outcome."
Jen and Garett opted for a first look, sharing a brief moment together before the ceremony.
