There's lace, and then there's Idan Cohen's lace. The Israeli-born bridal designer, celebrated for his attention to detail, creates classic bridal gowns with a twist. He goes above and beyond to add a modern edge, a 3-D element, an unexpected petal — to achieve the magical wow factor he's known for.

Idan Cohen grew up in a family of fashion in Israel, wandering through the factory of his family’s denim brand and dreaming of an international fashion house all his own. After becoming the family company’s Creative Director, he realized his passion lay in couture bridal gowns and eveningwear. After graduating from fashion school, Idan came back from London to Israel in 2011 to open his own humble studio. A rapid success, three years later the studio moved to a big, beautiful store in the fashionable neighborhood of Neve Tzedek, and finally, Idan opened his luxurious fashion house in Jaffa ,Tel Aviv.

Idan Cohen has made a name for himself with his unique couture handmade designs featuring intricate embellishments, overtly feminine silhouettes and unexpected details. Celebrities have taken note, including Jennifer Lopez, Nicki Minaj, Kristin Cavallari, and more, having worn Idan Cohen designs for special events, high profile weddings, red carpet appearances, awards shows and high profile magazine covers. (Here, BG and Idan dreamed up what Taylor Swift might wear on her big day.)

All of Idan Cohen’s designs are meticulously hand-sewn at the brand’s workshop and in prestigious factories throughout the world. For his 2026 collection, Idan channels the magnetic allure of silver-screen sirens – women whose strength, confidence, and sensuality captivated the world. Inspired by the effortless poise of stars like Lana Turner, Rita Hayworth, and Ava Gardner, each design celebrates a bride who owns her moment, moving with the same bold elegance and intoxicating presence that once lit up the golden age of cinema. Luxe fabrics, sculpted silhouettes, and  smoldering details pay homage to a time when style was an art form and femininity was power – reminding us that true beauty lies not just in the gown, but in the woman who commands the room.
