5 Beauty Products I Can't Live Without

As a beauty editor, I test and try out many new products….nonetheless, I always come back to these five products. I use these miracle makers on a daily basis. I call them my “Fab 5.”

  • Laura Mercier Eye Basics in Wheat

Laura Mercier Eye Basics in Wheat

I love the look of a “naked” eye. This primer creates a smooth, matte canvas that lasts all day. The sheer creamy texture blends easily, and the nude “wheat” color really brightens my eyes, making me look as fresh as a daisy (OK, almost as fresh as a daisy). I also love the skin-friendly ingredients: vitamin A, E and C, as well as soothing botanicals ($26, sephora.com).

  • Eve Lom Flawless Radiance Primer SPF 30

Eve Lom Flawless Radiance Primer SPF 30

I love a product that multitasks. This primer has it all! With its light-diffusing formula, it reduces imperfections and has a naturally radiant finish; the second I put it on, I feel ready for prime time. I sometimes wear it alone for a fresh radiant look or use it as the canvas for my foundation. It also contains vitamin E and potent plant extracts that brighten skin and prevent premature aging as well as hydrate the skin. And who doesn’t love broad spectrum SPF protection? My favorite part: this product doesn’t feel heavy or sticky ($55, evelom.com).

  • Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Beso

Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Beso

While I might be “au naturel” on the eyes, I do love a strong bold lip. Just one swipe of this highly pigmented perfectly red lipstick, and I feel complete! I also love the matte finish, which I find very modern and chic. And of all the lipsticks I have tried, I truly believe this one delivers long-lasting results. I am a die-hard loyalist to the Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipsticks ($22, sephora.com).

  • Ole Henriksen Truth Serum Collagen Booster

Ole Henriksen Truth Serum Collagen Booster

I treat this serum like a daily vitamin for my face. With a potent dosage of vitamin C, this serum boosts collagen production, nourishes the skin and provides antioxidant protection to defend my skin from New York City’s smog and dirt. I also love the bright citrus scent; it is like a burst of sunshine in the morning! ($48, sephora.com).

  • Boscia Tsubaki Oil-Infused Exfoliating Powder

    Boscia Tsubaki Oil-Infused Exfoliating Powder

I have searched high and low for a face cleanser that leaves my sensitive dry skin feeling soft and fresh and yet still hydrated. Many cleansers strip my face, making my skin feel tight and irritated. This gentle cleanser leaves my skin brighter and smoother and keeps my sensitive skin calm. (Tsubaki oil has been shown to reduce inflammation). I also love Boscia’s natural plant-based ingredient philosophy ($36, sephora.com).
