Of Mouse & Money

There are lots of ways to save cash, both before and after the wedding. You just have to know where to click. Here are three free websites that can help keep more of the green stuff in your wallets:

Bankrate.com allows you to search for the most favorable rates for credit cards, mortgage and home equity loans, loans for new and used cars, money market accounts, certificates of deposit, and ATM and online banking fees around the country.

Banxquote.com can help you find the best money market account and certificate of deposit rates available in your area, as well as auto, mortgage and home equity loan rates.

Pueblo.gsa.gov offers practical advice on how to cut the everyday costs of utilities, food, transportation, appliances and more. Just type “66 Ways to Save Money” into the site’s search option and print out this tip list produced by the Consumer Literacy Consortium and the Federal Citizen Information Center.
