When Kate Bosworth exchanged vows with filmmaker Michael Polish on Saturday, she was wearing a minimalistic strapless ballgown by Oscar de la Renta — her first of two  Oscar gowns for the big day!
"Seeing the dress, I was totally shocked at my complete lack of control over my emotions in that moment," she said. "It's a dress that reflects the love I have for my partner. It's a reflection of my life; it's a reflection of the woman I've become."
Bosworth fell in love with the gown for its simplistic front paired with a dramatic back. "It looks like it has weight and a heaviness to it, yet it feels light as air... There's just so much poetry and elegance to it."
She added embellishments through jewelry, choosing a diamond headband and earrings from Stephen Russell. Here, Vogue Weddings  shares an inside look at her final gown fitting:
