Celeb Engagement News: Janet Jackson, Brandy, and Rider Strong!

You know it's engagement season when three celebs announce their engagements in one day! Here, get a quick recap of who's planning on walking down the aisle soon.

Janet Jackson & Wissam Al Mana

Qatari billionaire Wissam Al Mana proposed to singer Janet Jackson with a "huge, expensive ring" earlier this year, according to Us Weekly [1].

The couple is planning an elaborate springtime affair in Qatar that will reportedly cost about $20 million, including the fleet of private jets to fly her entire family (all seven siblings and 20+ nieces and nephews)  to Qatar. Mana also plans to have a top chef create a custom menu.

Brandy & Ryan Press

R&B singer Brandy is engaged to music executive Ryan Press. Back in August, the Moesha star told Sister2Sister [2] magazine,  "I keep hearing about a ring. People keep calling me, hinting to me about it, but I don't know. I'm going to be patient and let it happen and just let it be... I guess it will happen when it's the right time." 

"He just loves me for who I am. I don't have to camouflage anything for him or put on a mask. I can completely be myself and he loves me so much and I love him just the way he is, too," Brandy told Us [3].

Rider Strong & Alexandra Barreto

The Boy Meets World star recently proposed to his longtime girlfriend Alexandra Barreto with a custom-designed three-stone ring (check it out here! [4]).

The pair first met while filming the short-lived series Pepper Dennis, and they also recently worked together on a Barack Obama presidential campaign video.
