Of course, some topics are off the table for discussion (e.g. which denomination your ceremony will follow), but there are smaller details that may fall into the "let it go" category.

To help you decide which aspects are worth compromising on, Sancho recommends asking yourself whether it will still be important to you 10 years from now. If the answer is "yes," then stand your ground. If the answer is "no," then it might be worth conceding in order to potentially avoid hurting someone's feelings.
