Jesamy and T met thanks to Jesamy's parents—while T was stationed in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, he met Jesamy's parents at a church event. They were so enamored with him that they soon insisted he meet their daughter when she returned from college. The pair instantly hit it off.
When T found out that he was being relocated from Missouri to Colorado, he knew that he didn't want to live without Jesamy. On a trip back to Missouri, Jesamy's father picked him up from the airport and they discussed T's plans to propose while in town. T later proposed to Jesamy in the same location where Jesamy's father had proposed to her mother. This adorable couple tied the knot a few months before T was deployed overseas.
