Simply Beautiful: Liz and Sarah in Evergreen, CO

Liz and Sarah met through mutual friends in Denver, CO while Liz was in town for a Jason Mraz concert. The two immediately hit it off and, after dating for two years, Liz proposed to Sarah. Before a picnic in the park, Liz had glued the letters to spell out "Marry Me" on a Scrabble board (one of Sarah's favorite games). When Sarah pulled out the board to play a game, she discovered Liz's secret message.

Favorite memory: "Getting to spend the entire day together," said Liz. "We calm each other down, and I know we were both nervous about the day, so having Sarah by my side all day made me feel a little less nervous."

Liz and Sarah tied the knot 10 months after the proposal and were joined by 105 guests. One of Liz's favorite memories of the day: "Seeing our friends and family truly enjoying themselves."

For their first dance, they chose "Green Eyes" by Coldplay. Liz danced with her father to "Sweet Pea" by Amos Lee.

"Planning our wedding became a part-time job for both of us," said Liz. "It was a lot of work, but worth it all."

Liz's dress (left) was by Augusta Jones, and Sarah's dress was by Saja. "We just knew when we put them on," said Liz. "It was one of those moments when you know it when you see it."

In keeping with the day's rustic vibe, the brides wore boots underneath their gowns.

Liz and Sarah each had a maid of honor: Liz's best friend and cousin, Kristin, and Sarah's best friend, Sabrina.
