A Marquee Event: Melissa & Frank in Wausau, WI
Melissa Ann Gebhardt and Frank Tsai tied the knot in what they describe as an evening of "answered prayers and romantic elegance." They met while caring for the same patient at the Arizona hospital where they worked (as a surgical physician assistant and physician, respectively), and they bonded over mutual friends and church. A secret romance developed between the pair, but they didn’t make their coworkers privy to their status.

The dapper groom wore a Hugo Boss tuxedo and received cufflinks from his bride as a sweet gift.
The couple saved on costs with DIY wedding invitations. "I couldn’t find a style with the right mix of elegance and affordability, so I combined elements I liked from a few different invitations to make my own,” Melissa explains.
The couple's bridal party consisted of a maid of honor, a best man, two groomsmen, two flower girls and two ring bearers. “We kept our wedding party to just family members to make it more intimate. It was so wonderful to have the support of family right by our sides,” the bride reveals.
Melissa and Frank recited traditional marriage vows at St. Paul’s Church, which had sentimental value for the bride (both her grandmother and mother got married there as well). "Seeing Frank at the end of the aisle for the first time was an incredible experience," the bride reveals.
The couple's flower girls gasped in delight when they caught a glimpse of the bride!
