The pattern on the cake, by Cakegirls, mimicked the invitation design. The flavors: Almond cake with chocolate ganache, and lemon cake with lemon custard filling. 

There was a power outage, due to the storm, so guests improvised: They took the votives from their tables, walked to the small tent and surrounded the bride and groom as they cut the wedding cake.
