For the reception, everyone entered the hall, which had been transformed to look like a hotel ballroom with gold and cream tablecloths and high and low candelabra centerpieces. The floral arrangements included red roses, orchids, calla lilies and gerbera daisies. After guests took their seats, stage curtains swept open to reveal Samer Al-Saher, a Middle Eastern pop singer, and an Arabic band.
