Jackie and Richard first met during their senior year of high school but didn't begin dating until years later. After losing touch post-graduation, they later reconnected through social media. They were just good friends for years, but after seeing each other go through one bad break up after another, they “decided to give it a go.”

Once sparks were flying, it was a whirlwind romance.  After just four short months of dating Jackie and Richard began planning their wedding. The actual proposal came another four months after that, however, because Richard wanted to ask Jackie’s father for her hand.
