Arbiter of celebrity gossip Giuliana DePandi of E! News made her own headlines in September 2007 when she married The Apprentice’s Bill Rancic. The couple wed on the isle of Capri, off the coast of Italy. The venue—the Grand Hotel Quisisana, located steps from the famous town square, La Piazzetta. From the moment you enter the 148-room hotel, it’s easy to see its star appeal: The lobby boasts marble floors, crystal chandeliers, plush white sofas and large windows with views of the pool and gardens.

Guest rooms feature brightly colored tiled floors that beautifully accent stark white walls. Each of the hotel’s 15 suites offer vaulted ceilings, a cozy living room and a Jacuzzi. The terrace is the perfect spot to linger over breakfast and admire the Faraglioni, a group of imposing rocks that rise above the sea, in the distance.

Get pampered at the hotel’s luxurious, full-service spa, which is equipped with Turkish whirlpools, a sauna, a fitness center and a beauty salon. Indulge in the 60-minute Vivifying Treatment, a body wrap that uses white clay, aromatherapeutic balsam and essential oils; it concludes with an energizing massage (treatment costs about $205 a person).

As for activities, explore the Blue Grotto, an ancient underwater cavern, visit the ruins of Villa Jovis atop Mount Tiberio, the highest point on the island’s eastern side, or pick out some treasures at local jewelry boutiques. When you’ve worked up an appetite, make your way to the hotel’s Quisi Restaurant, where you can order champagne cocktails infused with fresh strawberries and savor entrées like homemade tortelli with smoked eggplant and lobster. The finishing touch on your romantic dinner? Live piano music—now that’s amore (rates start at $518 a night, including breakfast; quisisana.com).
