Florida's Key West is beloved for its white sand and turquoise waters, as well as its truly fun-loving attitude. Though bargains are scarce (unless marrying barefoot at a salty motel, followed by beer and fish sandwiches, is heaven enough for you), the sunsets and flowery trees come free of charge. Choose among these prime locations, on Key West and its neighboring islets, and you can have your wedding in a palm-tree-filled paradise without leaving the country.

The posh 30-room Little Palm Island Resort and Spa, located just off the coast of Little Torch Key (which is a short drive from Key West), offers isolation with uncompromised luxury. Ceremony sites on this private island include the beach, the secluded Zen Garden, the palm-thatched gazebo and the Atlantic or Sunset docks. Celebrate in the hotel's restaurant, where the Atlantic Deck holds up to 40 guests. Your reception menu could include conch chowder and whole lobster, as well as a Key-lime-flavored wedding cake garnished with flowers. For more information visit littlepalmisland.com.

Another quiet option for a small wedding is the 37-room Hilton Sunset Key Resort, located on a private island eight minutes by boat from Key West. Couples with 25 or fewer guests may wed on the white-sand beach, where cormorants and pelicans frequently fly overhead, or poolside, where gardenia, jasmine and fruit trees scent the air. Receptions take place at the torchlit L'Attitudes restaurant, which has beachfront tables. The restaurant specializes in fresh seafood, including tuna tartare, scampi and whole local fish. Looking for something more lively? The 142-room Pier House Resort sits at the center of Key West's nightlife. While this part of town is known for drinking and dancing, the Pier House offers quiet ceremony sites, including a private beach and a lovely dock. After the vows, you and your guests can move on to the resort's ballroom (for up to 175 people) or one of the smaller luxury suites, both of which offer water views and feasts of coconut-crusted shrimp or grouper with saffron sauce.
