Who knew that diamonds and sapphires could come in deliciously fruity hues of orange and yellow? And then there are citrines, garnets, topazes and more. These gems add a warm glow against the skin, much like that of yellow gold. Citrus hues are also a celebrity favorite; Heidi Klum and Rebecca Romijn, among others, have sported canary-yellow diamond engagement rings. Any way you slice them, orange and yellow stones will complement your wedding’s season, mimicking the hue of a winter fire, spring daffodils, summer sun or just-turned autumn leaves.
