After feeding me a line about how his grandmother's engagement ring was in having the stone reset, we planned a trip to the beach to getaway.

Coincidentally, the day went absolutely perfect and as we walked onto the beach, a wedding was being set up. Brad was so nervous, but I still had NO idea what he was up to. I was snapping away pictures of the sunset in Clearwater, Florida, and the sun was about to hit the water, so I told him I was going to put my camera away.

I went to hold his hand with my right hand and he said, "Give me your other hand." Not thinking, I handed it to him. Right then, he pulled out the ring and asked me to marry him, and of course I said yes! I was completely in awe though because he had told me the ring was in being repaired.
