Being the homebody I am, this experience was the hardest of my life. Every day of the four-month experience I missed my family and mostly my boyfriend of four and a half years, Andrew. Finally, the day arrived when I was to fly home. I had been told that only my parents and Andrew were going to meet me at the airport and that was fine with me.

Well, when I got to Logan Airport many more people than just Andrew and my parents greeted me at the gate. I stepped off the plane to see my parents, brother, cousins and Andrew's parents. Literally 30 seconds after I got off the plane and after a huge hello hug, Andrew got down on one knee, pulled out the most perfect ring that he picked himself and proposed to me in Spanish.

To make it even sweeter, Andrew doesn't speak Spanish; he had a friend help him translate the proposal because he knew I had dreamed of being proposed to in Spanish. He thought of me in every way while planning this proposal. Afterwards we all went out to eat to celebrate my homecoming and the engagement.
