Special Blooms

Hello ladies—I’m back! Sorry for the long hiatus. The end of my maternity leave became more hectic than I expected, and I wanted to spend every possible second with my little boo. Thank goodness for Monica keeping all of you brides-to-be in the know with her cool finds!

Now back to the business at hand. Today I want to talk flowers with you. Last week, I was pleasantly surprised to arrive home to a sweet bouquet—gerbera daisies, which are one of my favorites. And for no reason at all other than just being me! While the thought was lovely, the poor blooms only lasted a few days. That’s why whenever I need flowers, I always use Flowerbud.com.

I stumbled upon them last year when Monica and I needed flowers for the Bride of the Year photo shoot and loved them immediately. Everyone at the company is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, and the buds arrive on time and are absolutely stunning. Most of the flowers are cut and shipped within 24 hours of being ordered. What’s also unique is that the flowers are snipped in their bud stage (hence the name, Flowerbud!), so that you can enjoy them as they bloom. As a bonus, all the packaging is recyclable and made specifically to protect your precious cargo.

Sunflowers are my personal fave (lucky for my guy that they aren’t so expensive), but all of their varieties are sure to please. And nothing brightens up a room better than a beautiful bouquet of your beloved buds. Go to flowerbud.com to see the full collection or call 877-524-5400.

Here's a sample of some of their beautiful blooms:

pink peonies

stargazers

red tulips

irises

Special note to guys: Flowers from the deli are only an option in emergency situations. Otherwise, plan ahead and give your special lady the very best.
