It's Magic!
I make Jack’s dog food. I know…ridiculous. He’s a DOG! I hear it from friends all the time. So of course now, I HAVE to make Molly’s food. What kind of mother would I be if the dog got fresh food and my daughter didn’t? Plus, I have an issue with something that’s been preserved and processed so much that it has a shelf life of two years. That’s baby food, ladies, even the organic variety. Gross!
Now, keep in mind, this is NYC where most kitchens (well, mine for sure) are smaller than a walk-in closet. I just don’t have counter space for a gigantic food processor, nor do I want to drag it out of a cabinet every day. I tried an immersion blender from a company that shall remain nameless and quite frankly, it sucked. Luckily, I discovered the Magic Bullet Platinum Pro from Homeland Housewares just in the nick of time.

This all-in-one appliance blends, chops, purees and dices anything you can think to put in it…in less than 10 seconds! No really, it does. I use it every day to make Molly’s food, and it takes up less space than a coffee cup. I’ve pureed chicken, steak, veggies, fruit and made smoothies and frozen cocktails for guests in the four individual party mugs that come with the blender. I have two blender cup sizes to choose from and all I have to wash is the cup and the blade component. There are no buttons to mess with—simply place it on the stainless base and push down. If I’m making something, like salsa, that I want chunkier, I tap the cup down (for less than a second) a couple times and I’m done. It basically does the job of a blender, food processor, juicer and mixer. Plus, it’s microwave and dishwasher safe. For $99.99, I can’t think of a better item to add to your registry. Visit magicbulletplatinumpro.com to order. Cheers!
