Earth Friendly

Since wrapping up our first Green issue (May/June 2008 which hits the stands on March 18), Monica and I have been obsessed with all things eco and recycled. Until now, I didn’t realize that being environmentally conscious had become so chic and so incredibly easy. So of course I was thrilled when this fantastic new product came across my desk—the Mini Max Shopper ($7) by Reisenthel. It’s a stylish little tote, available in over 20 colors and designs, that comes in its own tiny carrying case that can be attached to your key ring or stashed in your purse, and can be unfolded to carry all your daily purchases when needed.

I have to admit, it sat in my purse for a couple days (I am a creature of routine!) but once I remembered to use it, I love it and keep it with me constantly. With its 22 lb capacity, it easily carried my produce from the Farmer’s Market and biscuits for my pup, still with plenty of room to spare. Check out their website, reisenthel.com, to buy and see what other cool products they have. Being a city girl, I also really like the Foldable Trolley cart for toting larger purchases. Come on ladies, for seven dollars, how can you resist some earth-friendly karma???
