A Fresh Look

One of the easiest and most inexpensive ways to update your home is with a fresh coat of paint in a new color. In my living room, I chose a soft yellow shade for three of the walls and nutmeg for the accent wall. 3. Dispose of paint correctly: Never pour paint in the trash or drain. Instead, empty it onto absorbable materials like kitty litter or newspaper, let dry and then throw out.
4. Donate leftover paint: Ask friends, family, charities or churches if they could use the remainder.
