I Need a Plan
I'm freaking out a little. The wedding is 4 1/2 months away, and I need to pull together a bridal shower soon.
This weekend I met up with the bride and groom for a fun day in the city. At one point the bride ventured off to the ladies room, and the groom took that opportunity to ask me about the bridal shower plans. He was only interested because his mom wanted to help out and contribute something to the party. Being the control freak that I am, I would normally shy away from help. But in this case I was happy for it. Everyone's asking questions and right now I don't exactly have any answers.
I want to put together something really nice for her, but my jumbled up mind isn't really coming up with anything fun and original. You'd think working for a bridal publication would make things easier, but I'm finding that it's just causing information overload in my brain.
If anyone has any ideas, I'd be glad to hear them.
