Escape to Turks & Caicos Part 2

In my last post I introduced you to the brand new Italian Village and Pirates Island Waterpark at the Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort Villages & Spa. We took a look at the amazing rooms and fun activities available to you for an unforgettable honeymoon. Now it's time to explore the rest of the resort.

You can saunter over to The French Village to enjoy the charming chateau-style accommodations, manicured gardens and an array of restaurants and cafés near the pool:

This is the elegant Le Petit Chateau, one of 16 dining spots at the resort:

And the enchanting interior of Giuseppe’s where I enjoyed an incredible buffet lunch:

…followed by dessert at the Café de Paris where sweet-tooth lovers (like myself) will go into a sugar swoon just looking at all of the tempting treats that await:

OK, time to walk off all those calories, so I headed over to the Caribbean Village with its pretty waterfall pool and lush gardens:

…with inviting gazebos and lounge areas near the beach where you can unwind, enjoy the sea breeze and toast your new life together:

But what’s island life without a festive Caribbean-style parade? Here, revelers led us to a celebration at the Pirates Island Waterpark one evening:

…where we wined and dined…

…and even enjoyed a little celeb-watching. Yep! There were quite a few stars there with their families including Cheryl Hines (Curb Your Enthusiasm), Jenna Elfman, Lou Ferrigno, Joey Fatone, Robert Buckley (Lipstick Jungle), Debi Mazar (Entourage), Jennie Garth and hubby Peter Facinelli (Twilight), Elizabeth Rohm (Law & Order), Bethenny Frankel (The Real Housewives of New York City) and Catherine Bell (JAG, Army Wives). It was quite the star-studded evening!
Not wanting to seem like an annoying paparazzi I stealthily snapped a few pix. The result? Here’s the back of Robert Buckley:

And the side of Peter Facinelli next to Jennie Garth’s blonde hair:

But I did get a great shot of Bethenny Frankel and her boyfriend, Jason, who very nicely posed for a picture. Boy, there must be something to this Skinnygirl Maven’s philosophy because Ms. Frankel looks fantastic!
