OK, can we just talk for a minute about how gorgeous and romantic this look is? We were at the Carmela Sutera bridal show in NYC, and model after model came down the runway with these soft, feminine curls and ‘just bitten’ glossy lips. It’s a totally fresh take on timeless beauty, and is perfect for today’s bride.
No one wants to look back at their wedding pics and cringe because they’d tried out a vivid new eye shadow or some cutting edge hairdo—save that for going out with your girlfriends. By keeping your hair and makeup classic you will be able to have your photos on display for years to come. The best part is that with the right products, you can recreate this at home. Go with a hint of color on the lips like the UltraLight Gloss from Estée Lauder in Nectar Light, a sweep of blush on the cheeks—Benefit’s Georgia (a soft peachy color) should do the trick, a pop of mascara to open up the eye, and you, too, can have that ‘barely-there’ glow.
