Say It With Words

For all you brides looking for a special way to ask your closest gal pals to be in your wedding party, think back to old-school forms of communication and pop an oh-so-personal note card in the mail. Jenny Sweeney Designs just unveiled their spring 2008 bridal collection and I’m head-over-heels in love with them. The whimsical floral designs, which are beautifully hand glittered and printed on iridescent paper, were inspired by beloved childhood memories. Included in the bunch are cards that read “Will you be my maid/matron of honor?”, “Will you be my bridesmaid?” and “Will you be my flower girl?” If you’ve already gathered your ladies, then choose from the collection’s “Thank you” cards—the perfect complements to your bridal-party gifts. Check the website’s store locator for a local retailer. Or if you happen to live near Libertyville, Illinois, stop into the newly remodeled JSD store at 627 North Second Street. Here, the cards sell for $5.90 each—but the expressions on your girlfriends’ faces when they open these beauties will be priceless.

thank you for being my bridesmaid

thank you for being my matron of honor

will you be my maid of honor?

will you be my junior bridesmaid?
