Breathe Easy

Here’s the honest truth: There will be days during this whole wedding-planning process when you’ll need to find ways to regain your sanity. So before you become a dreaded Bridezilla, read on.

Delegate! You can’t do it alone, so get your groom and your bridesmaids on board to help you make calls, run errands, whatever! To make assigning duties a cinch, check out the handy notebooks from Whomi’s To Do Collection. The What to Do Pad ($15) will keep your lists contained in a single book and organized by color and task. Choose between Shop/Call/Do and Buy/Contact/Do. (The company also has a clever Me/You/You Too Pad—especially great for the future hubby.) Just write up your to-dos, rip out the appropriate pages to pass along to your helpers and then move on to the next task at hand.

When you simply need to chill out—de-stress with some massage and aromatherapy that you can do anywhere. T Spheres (T for tranquility) are an awesome new product for Zen-seekers. The massage balls (there’s a marble-size version for your hands and feet and palm-size version for your entire body) are made of organic rubber and infused with essential oils. Relieve tension by rolling one between your hands, under your foot or across other hot spots like along your neck and shoulders.

I received samples of the T Spheres made exclusively for Origins (available in retail stores only). “No Worries” is a mix of basil, rose geranium, eucalyptus and peppermint and “Peaceful Moments” is scented with lavender—I tried this one out. Hint: The massage technique takes some getting used to (the ball kept popping out of my hands), but you’ll get the hang of it with practice. And the scents definitely do their job. I left a couple sitting on my desk, and the whiffs of lavender I got as I typed away were seriously calming. The balls start at $22 for a set of two and include an atomizer filled with the essential oils to refresh the products.
