2014 Golden Globes: The Best Hair & Makeup

BG brides, did you tune into the 71st Annual Golden Globes? We curled up on the couch with a big bowl of popcorn to scout the evening's most covetable fashion looks and there were some huge hits — 12 Years a Slave's Lupita Nyong'o in a red Calvin Klein cape, Naomi Watts in Tom Ford, and mama-to-be Olivia Wilde's emerald Gucci dress.

But overall, the looks were downright...polarizing. (Jennifer Lawrence, we love you, but those comparisons between your Dior dress and Ariel from The Little Mermaid are spot-on! See a hilarious photo here.)

Thankfully, all of our favorite starlets were on the same page when it came to hair and makeup. Check out the most glamorous beauty looks below and tell us which one you'd most like to wear on your big day!

Margot Robbie
Sign us up for that amazing glow, stat! The Wolf of Wall Street actress's dewy makeup and side-parted bun is perfect for the bride who wants a natural yet photo-ready look on her wedding day. Her makeup artist, Jenn Streicher, applied St. Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Mousse to create a golden, sun-kissed base.

Amber Heard
Viewers had strong reactions to Heard's teased-up-to-there bun, but we thought her bronze smoky eye was perfection! Tell us: Would you wear a loose updo on your wedding day?

Reese Witherspoon
Witherspoon also opted for golden eye shadow, but the look was much softer than Heard's. This alternative to black and silver is great for brides with warmer skin tones. The asymmetrical bob is a modern choice and would pair well with a slinky sheath.

Olivia Wilde
Waves ruled the Golden Globes and Wilde's ombré hair color really highlighted her wavy hairstyle. Choose an eye shadow that contrasts with your eye color, like this bride-to-be did, to create a smoldering gaze. If this is any indication of what she'll look like when she marries Jason Sudeikis, then we can't wait!

Jennifer Lawrence
Edgy brides, take note: The Best Supporting Actress winner (and face of Dior Beauty) proves that you don't need to choose between bold lips or eyes for your wedding day! She offset vampy oxblood lipstick with dark eyeliner and silvery gray shadow. A pixie cut is low-maintenance and chic.

Sofia Vergara
The Modern Family star turned heads with a dramatic ballgown and statement necklace, but we think brides should take a cue from her flowing waves and fresh makeup. Believe it or not, hairstylist Harry Josh used just a brush and a blowdryer to create the voluminous look. For makeup, she went with a brown cat eye (instead of black) and a matte red lip.

Zooey Deschanel
The New Girl showed off her matching daisy manicure on Instagram, but we were too transfixed by her side bun and ruby red lipstick to pay much attention. Wouldn't this look be dreamy for a vintage-inspired wedding?

Amy Adams
The radiant redhead was inspired by her American Hustle character when it came to putting together her look for this year's awards show. We couldn't take our eyes off her intricate, plaited updo.
