Including your girls in various outings is definitely crucial for bonding. Picking out the bridesmaid dresses is a great experience, where the girls can offer input and have fun modeling fabulous dresses for you. That also gives you a chance to see the girls with different body types in different cuts and see what would compliment the group. Also, remember that they should feel amazing too, so you want to pick a style that matches everyone’s body type and makes them feel beautiful.

When it comes to picking out your bridal dress, I would say the fewer girls there the better. You don’t want too many critiques on that day, as it can be confusing and overwhelming. I am a huge advocate of relaxing days with the girls that take your mind off the big day. Going out to get a mani/pedi and doing a movie or cocktail night are ways to keep the girls up to date on things, and to help them stay excited for your wedding day! This is, after all, one of the biggest moments of your life and it should never feel too stressful or crazy. A wonderful way to thank your girls is by giving them gifts on the day of the wedding or at the rehearsal dinner that they can either wear during the wedding or in the future.

There is power in numbers. And with your girls by your side, you will have a phenomenal time with important people who have watched you grow through the years and who will send you off into the future with the love of your life. Attitude stems from the top. If you make it enjoyable for your girls, they will make it enjoyable for you!
